I waited 4 episodes to really immerse myself in this for a long time. The goal was to give me the opportunity to appreciate the gift given to us by the many top-notch actors who contributed to the creation of this work, which, by the way, despite mixed reviews, is entertaining and well-received by many. Many viewers have heard stories from a similar angle, but that point of view remains gripping here as you move into a more confusing but well-thought-out plot with female leads, each confidently holding our attention whenever they appear. Halfway through the series, we still can’t say whether that sense of urgency will remain at its current level as we learn more about what’s going on, but given the subject matter, the budget, and the talent pool they’ve been able to bring to the screen, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, especially given the series’ solid foundation.
